Shutting down programs via school

When I was at school (and Windows XP was the latestthing), I discovered that unplugging a desktop'snetwork cable just after the point oflogin (and plugging it back in during the login process) resulted in logging me in with local administrative access on the PC. Probably wouldn't work these days, though.
