RAT = Remote Access Tool
It's called a firewall kids. They block out sites via their firewall and it doesn't allow users to go on there.
If you are talking about the wifi and shit. That's called a botnet. That monitor what sites you go on. They don't have remote access due to it.
You can't rat someone via wifi.
And If it's a school computer. They wouldn't try to get full access to monitor everyone on every computer in the school. They just track what you do on the computer so if something were to go up. They can find out who did it easier.
No, there are RAT-like programs at schools. They were in my Freshman computer lab. All the PCs are running ethernet connections to one host computer. The host computer can see what each system is doing, and can broadcast their screen to all of our computers, broadcast one of our screens to everyone else and do shit on our screen. The program was called SmartSYNC, however probably not the same program as tom most likely. mine was pretty easy to disable, just had to do some shit with process trees and stuff.
Oh, and RAT is Remote Administration tool :yus:
RAT by definition is aRemote Access Trojan
we were both wrong lol. And having an ethernet cable link to a host computer, and having a host computer seeing everything isn't a RAT. It's not even a Trojan. That is an "administration tool" yes. But they don't have complete access to your computer. They can see what you are doing.
