It is a matter of usability and preference.
Going deeper, iOS is for "girls" and Android is for people more complicated.
iOS is limited, you can't even set a custom ringtone. Well, you can, but you have to pay for it.
Also, if your battery dies you can use your phone back when....apple let's you, on Android you just plugged it and you can start it.
You must change your iPhone every x time because you will not be able to use an application because you must update it, but you cannot updated because you must update de iOS version, but you cannot update the iOS because...apple doesn't want you to, so go buy another new expensive phone
