Should i install a crack photoshop or just subscribe?

Professional designer here. I started using GIMP because it was free and open source and because I didn't want to pirate software.

PROS: learnt design
CONS: UI is very different toPS, amaterish in comparison

I'd say if you want to be legal, go for Affinity Designer. Its once off and won't break the bank. However, I eventually ended up learning how to use the whole Adobe suite through a cracked copy - just as long as you don't make money using cracked software, I think you are ethically in the clear.

And obviously, pay for it once you can afford it!
