Serious Recover data from a formatted flash drive

I have a question about recovering data from a formatted flash drive. Is it really possible to do? I formatted the flash drive, but did not transfer all the working files from it to the PC. How can I recover deleted files on a flash drive? For example, friends recommend using Uneraser or Disk Drill. What advice can you give?
