Adding a period will still send emails to the original email. (At least, if they use gmail)

For example, if you sent ataraxy.1 an email, it'll ignore the period and send it to ataraxy1.

Same applies to capitals.

It's actually really useful information. If you know how to use it and what things are vulnerable to it, it's highly exploitable.
