I would recommend checking out the gmodstore page for whatever addon your trying to configure. More often then not, the addon author will put important/useful commands within the description. If this doesn't help... read below...
If your using a leaked version of the addon, it probably just doesn't work. Leaked addons always come with a slew of random issues, and if it's leaked, it's not like you can open a support ticket to fix your problem. A good way to tell if your addon is broken is by simply trying to use it. If your console starts spitting out a bunch of errors, it probably just doesn't work and your going to have to suck it up and find a different addon.
Without any errors in console or support from the addon author, your pretty much on your own.
