What would you like to see from a server?

Testing stage will begin next week, and the release candidates will start coming up in about 3 weeks. Full release in 4 weeks. These things take time if you want to get it right. :noh:

Like by using modded clients or through things like pvp?

Not sure, but I highly discourage the usage of modified clients that provide an unfair advantage over other players. PvP will be highly encouraged, though.
