True, you're right in the sense that I took the lazy way and gave him the generic answer. While your points are both valid and reasonable, I still stand in the stance that he would still be better off learning how to code properly. Not only would it be better in the long run, but it's a beneficial skill that could and probably would serve him well. Although, I don't see how my response was selfish. Yeah fuck doing anything yourself to be honest. You can just get plugins and be a make-believe coder yourself.
I'm sure running a forum with no knowledge on design or scripting languages would be a good idea. Not to mention not putting enough effort to research.

Spoonfeeding is the way to go in 2016.
