CSGO 2 Same but different

CS2 is not the exact thing. The developers get a lot of freedom with sourcemod 2. Yes CS2 won't become the perfect game as u expect. It will take at least 1 year for the game to reach expected playable standards for high rank competitive players. I would say wait and watch.
