Pays better, Dota has a higher skill ceiling so I feel like I can improve more, and it's more strategic so I feel like in time I'll be able to play on the very highest level.
Tf2 has a pretty high skill cap tho
too ambitious for small scenes like tf2

a 2-3k monthly salary is standard, add in housing + EVERYTHING (travel, food, water, drinks, gaming equipment =you have very little expenses) and tons of bonuses for performing, sponsorship deals (wear this watch get 500$ a month)AND tournament winnings on top of that.
