They do care. It's just that they don't necessarily care about the end users, that's the developers that do. The big cheeses are the ones that only care about the company from an economic perspective.

So the devs care but they don't get the ressources to actually make it safe?

It's always the corporate side of companies giving the okay for devs to do shit. Believe me, most devs give a shit and actually care about what they're putting out there. That goes with anything, really. People want to be proud of what they make for the world to use. They want to be proud of the music people listen to. The art the people see. But when it comes down to it, money talks, and it has a voice bigger than the devs.

I see. Man that's actually sad to imagine and believe. I mean like.. it just shows that money rules everything, which is sad and stupid.
