Were you using Cortana? This disables her, so you might want to revert that change.
I had already tried turning Cortana off before that. But, for some reason it corrupted my system files for the Start Menu completely. Fixed it now after searching online and reverting the changes made with the program. I couldn't even open the Windows Start Menu, nor the Search Feature.
I find that interesting, as I've never used the program on anything but clean installs :x
Though system restore points are always a necessity, I don't think I have to explain why xD
I can't exactly do System Restore points cause my laptop is a piece of shit. The last time I tried, my laptop crashed and when I restarted it the background was removed and my icons were messed up.
