How'd you get into LOL?

Hi, I used to play warcraft III and once I tried multiplayer I was hooked. Controlling the hero units was really something. Forward 10 years later and I heard my neighbors talking about LoL so I googled it. Downloaded similar games like Dota 2 and Hon but they were not my cup of tea.

LoL was like dejavu with the pings, the mini map and the item shop. I felt right at home and the rest is history.
Why didn't you like it?
