Marvel or DC

I find DC to be way more comfortable as I think it's relatively easier to just grab and go with them, where Marvel just continually builds on top of each other.

In my experience, there's a lot less cross referencing when trying to read a run of Marvel vs a run of DC. Plus, I've always connected to the vibes of DC more, where the characters are a lot more exaggerated. Like everyone is so archetypal that it's just a lot more fun to think about the characters compared to Marvel where they're constantly changing. "Is Magneto with or against the X-Men right now" sort of thing.
