Why do you want to be a moderator?
I'm going to be completely honest here, having a quick look to see who else has posted an application here doesn't make me feel confident that I even have a chance but Nulled is an awesome site and that's my fundamental reason for applying for this position! Aside from this simple motivation I have come to the realisation that most of the people here are extraordinarily friendly and good to talk to with, this admirable quality about the forum is one of the main factors in my decision to stay and in a way dedicate my time to this community. As a result I'm always looking for ways I can contribute to improve the site through posting resources and hosting giveaways that not only provide an incentive for other members to become better but also to support the site, of course what we've all noticed is the abundance of users that trash the forum daily, doing everything from spamming, leeching content and in some situations even hosting contents that are either fake or never eventuate in a prize being given. I already attempt to assist in a variety of ways including reporting posts which violate the rules but I do feel as though with the ability to moderate the Member Contests Giveaways section I can not only provide some relief to the staff team but actually greatly enhance the organisation and quality of this particular section.
Hosting contests of my own and participating in others I understand from both perspectives what the ideal operation of these competitions are. The need to have end dates enforced and only real contests being allowed to run seems to me like the logical approach, too many postings seem to be unclear and lack coherency which can engender confusion and apprehension about entering similar contests when previous ones have not worked out - and this is a shame because I thoroughly enjoy this section. But without moderation the posts are susceptible to becoming pointless and can continue on indefinitely if not noticed by anyone. In this situation in particular the user needs to be notified and asked to respond in a given time frame, if this is not done then a fair punishment should be given such as the prevention of creating any more contests over a given period.
Considering that it's one of the main facets from which someone can give back to the community the smooth proceeding should be a top priority and I would love to help with that. It reflects badly on Nulled when unchecked contests are allowed to continue and hook in other members who are looking to participate in a giveaway, it's a problem that can't be stamped out entirely but with someone moderating the section some of the more major complications can be avoided. Moreover, having been a apart of this community for almost two years now I would like to also further prove myself as a trustworthy and competent member. I believe that this opportunity will also allow me to demonstrate my commitment and maturity with this important responsibility.
If chosen I plan to keep a spreadsheet of Contests and Giveaways where I would document all the appropriate information like start and end dates, the user who is hosting the contest, the prize(s) being given, if there were any requirements and who actually entered. This would help to keep track of each individual contest and make it much easier to determine if any actions on my behalf would be required.
How much time a day do you spend on the site?
Between 6-12 hours on average but most days I can spend even more time on the site, I guess the best explanation for this is that I'm currently on a bit of a break between finishing high school and going onto university. In Australia we finished in November but I'm starting an education in America in the fall semester so there is nothing vitally important for me to do up until August. Therefore, I essentially have all this free time with not much to do in the interim. Aside from my part time job (which I do 4 hours a week) and other random occasions like parties, catching up with friends, etc... there is nothing that really consumes a lot of my time. Separately from the regular hours that I'm on Nulled I can usually be on reasonably quickly when messaged on skype, steam, the forum or discord. I have to admit I'm a bit of an insomniac so it doesn't bother me being on the site at awkward times.
Your experience as a moderator
Well I first became familiar with MyBB when I signed up at a popular unnamed forum six years ago, while I never had any sort of permissions there aside from what the usergroup granted it had provided me with basic knowledge about the forum software as well as teach me about posting etiquette. I'm not sure if this is really considered as experience in the context of this application but in 2012 I got given an administration position on a popular Garry's Mod server's forum and concurrently a position on a site that was geared towards releasing CG resources and cracked programs. With the access I was granted I preformed most duties like checking and resolving reported posts, banning members who had broken the rules in a way that was fair, restricting access, dealing warnings when relevant, locking/deleting threads when required and revoking permissions when they were abused. More recently (mid-way through 2016) I had quit a moderator position at a reasonably popular site which was focused around the release of forum resources, this demanded a lot more time than any other I had experienced but it had the benefit of accustoming me to pressure, how to handle situations effectively and taught me a great deal about respect. During the intermission between these years I have held some form of access with at least moderator tools on a few other forums, although some of the positions were minor I still take every form of access seriously and never abuse any privileges. When I decided that I would no longer be moderator on a particular site it was in good faith, I would just notify the owner and have the permissions removed without causing any harm to the site unlike some others I've seen who have deleted entire sections before being stripped of their rank. I feel like I should explain the reasoning behind me leaving those other sites to assure you that it's a completely different story with Nulled. The problem was with the fact that they became cesspools for the most deplorable members and owners that were too avaricious to care about any other aspect about their website other than what was the source of their income, essentially I felt as though there is no point in continuation when a forum has reached a point where nothing was ever going to change about a bad situation and in one case that is explicitly what I was told. However, not all my experiences have ended badly and in some circumstances I just determined that I no longer wanted to be staff or the site simply closed down. Additionally, I have also managed my own websites so I guess that kind of counts for something. If not I suppose it at least demonstrates the understanding of forum software and the multitude of management tools.
Do you have ideas to make the section a better place? If yes, which?
I have a few suggestions that may or may not improve the section:

Do you have ideas to make the section a better place? If yes, which?
I have a few suggestions that may or may not improve the section:
- If a user has been active in the contest section, ie. they have ran a successful contest before, then they should get access to a "Verified" thread prefix showing that the contest is legitimate, this will obviously just be based on previous occasions and not completely reliable. However, it would give some indication as whether a contest is trusted or not. An alternative to this would be giving the thread prefix to the sectional moderator or staff and making it so that they can apply it to a given thread once it has been deemed as an acceptable contest.
- Contest posts are moderated until confirmed by the sectional moderator, this can be once the original poster has shown that they have the prize in question or merely that all the details have been provided such as then end date.
- On Nulled v2 there was a submit resource button which showed a form with input fields that were relevant to the resources topics. I'm not certain that many people used it electing to use their own format but I think it was a good idea which could be applied to this particular section with a few modifications.
- The rules being clearly stated on the thread list (which is what has already being done) but also for that to be extended so that it's displayed above when you are creating the post so that there is no ambiguity of what the expectations are and absolutely no reason for not understanding the rules.
- Requirements to even post in the contest section might prevent some more issues. Something like the member would need to have positive reputation and at least two hundred posts. I understand this might be restrictive especially for new members but it also has the potential to stop a majority of the fake contests and giveaways.
