For some reason a lot of people don't agree with you, and not just on the forum.

You also have to realise that words change meanings over time, and they often have different meanings based on the communities they're used in.
Just because the word meant what you said in Japan, in the year 2006, doesn't mean it means the same thing now.

That link you provided... The first and highest ranking answer states that they aren't even sure themselves. The one underneath it is directly against it. The following makes only one reference and example of the term, in a sexual setting. The next following comments explain the origin of it and the meaning within Japan and as a genre, that is a sexual setting. So you just provided me with more ammo. (Great job.)

As far as the genre cares, "Loli" refers to young girls or young looking woman aimed towards a audience to provoke a sexual response from them. Also, yes words change meaning over the years. But as of 2016, "Loli" in Japan and in media means what I just said. If you want, then I can probably check for you when I go to Japan in a few months, if you are bothered enough by this to wait that long.
