The whole point of learning something is to be eased out of it and then begin to apply it on your own. You won't become some amazing developer by sticking to one resource. Of course it's going to be repetitive because it's attempting to drill the basics in your head so you have a foundation to work off of. Once you get the basics, at least in my opinion, you should start your own projects and learn from trial and error.
