RE: Looking for one sectional moderator
Why do you want to be a moderator?
There are many shitty people in the world who have nothing better to do than scam and rip people off online. I think the same thing applies to hosting fake contests, whether the purpose is to gain reputation, popularity or whatever. I think with a section moderator on the contests section it can become well known that hosting fake contests is not tolerated especially as Nulled continues to grow and gain popularity.
How much time a day do you spend on the site?
In the past few months I have been extremely busy with school and freelance projects so I haven't been very active but now that school has settled in I will be a lot more active on nulled. On most days I check the site at least 2-3 times per hour to post / search around. I am very confident that I can be very active everyday of the week on the forums. I have access to the internet 99% of the time whether on my iPhone, laptop (at school) or desktop (at home)
Your experience as a moderator
Yes I have a lot of experience moderating other communities / forums. I first started off administrating a fairly popular forum called AlphaBoards that I am sure you heard of from a certain banned member on this forum named hug. I then continued on to moderate/administrate many other sites and have primarily moved onto gaming communities which require in-game and on-site administration. I currently run two fairly large gaming communities which have a total of around 20k members on them. I understand how to deal with members maturely and in a way that reflects good on Nulled's behalf.
Do you have ideas to make the section a better place? If yes, which?
I believe the contest section could receive many changes which would increase the activity and security of the members participating in contests. First of all I think there should be some requirement to post a new thread in the section, probably having to do with reputation and post count. Just as an idea to explore I think it could be cool to have a subforum that most be posted in first and if the section moderator approves the contest he can move it into public view in the main contests forum. This could help reduce quick threads that are posted when a staff member isn't online. I think with these changes and many more we can help improve the member contest section and make it a place where more members want to contribute.
Side Notes:
I also have some 'experience' (If you can even call it that) in the member contest section as I have held a few contests in the past. I am familiar with the rules of Nulled and the moderation tools of mybb. Thanks for considering my application, please tell me if any more information is needed. Besides Aoki I am the second most vouched member on nulled so I guess that can mean something in terms of trust.
