#20 Back in Oct. 2002 I was 19, I went out of town to work for a month and when I came back home my dad went with me and co-signed on a brand new 2003 eclipse. Had 24 miles on it and I believe I washed that thing like 20 times a day. At this time fast and furious came out in 2001 with 2 fast 2 furious coming out in 2003 and every kid on the block was quoting lines from the movies. As I was single, still lived at home with mom and dad, and was making good money at the time, all my money went into my car.
Of course I had to have a new exhaust system so I could sound like a pissed off bumble bee. I took out the backseats and had some plywood cut to fit perfect where the seats went, then had the plywood covered in carpet to match the interior. Then came the boom boom, had to have 4 12s sitting in the back with an in-dash DVD player. I then took the glove box out and mounted a PS2 under the dash in front of the passenger seat. Saved up the money and had some 19" rims on it with a bodykit.
After all that I got into street racing really hot and heavy so I saved up a bit and got a ZEX nitrous kit for it.
Long story short, I paid countless speeding tickets, ended up getting a reckless driving ticket for doing 140mph down the highway that cost me 12 hours in jail + $995 reckless driving ticket + $180 illegal lane change ticket + $180 illegal passing ticket + $250 to get my car out of impound. Lost my license for 3 months + 3 additional months because of previous tickets, then after the 6 months I had to pay $100 to get my license reinstated. After I got my license back my slave cylinder was leaking and I ended up burning the clutch in it up.
My cousin helped me take the transmission out and I went and bought a new clutch but he never would help me put it back in, after about 2 years of it sitting at my mom and dad's house I ended up trading it to a guy for a 1997 s-10 blazer with 20" rims on it, lowered with a cowl induction hood and a new motor. He came over and put the clutch back in and got the car running again. Me and my gf at the time was having problems and she ended up getting back with me after she found out I was getting the Blazer. I let her drive it one Thanksgiving day and she told me she was going to her grandmothers house to see her, she ended up going to see the guy she had been cheating on em with and ended up totaling out the Blazer. Her dad sold it for scrap and I didn't get a single penny for it. After that me and her broke up for good after I found out the child she had wasn't mine, it was the guys she had been seeing this whole time and I now drive a 1995 GMC sonoma truck.
