Immortality - Gift or Curse?

If u are a loner i think immortality is a gift ,since u dont have a family u dont see themget old and die , thats depressing and your friends getting suspicious onyou why u dont age.In the future it will be harder and harder to hide your identity and the government will find out and then experiments start on you, unless you like living in a cave to hide but then whats the point of it.
Having to experience all the new inventions and history , planets colonizationsin the future will be amazing and i think thats the right price to pay to be a alone.Me when i watch Sci FI tv shows or movies i get a little sad thinking i wont experience it.
