Basically, to prevent leechers coming in and going "lol what's this???" When users post a thread, they have the option to close it on a specific day at a specific time. This could prove useful for contests and for threads that are no longer relevant (e.g. https://nulledbb.com/thread-About-exploi...118&page=1) It might reduce spam and make managing contests easier.
