CS:GO and Linux?

Hi, I am a new user of Ubuntu and I have experienced a MASSIVE for drop from about 120 on windows to about 40 on Ubuntu, 20 around smoke. I turned down all of the graphics and everything... Could anyone help me?

Also, I know that VAC doesn't work on Linux but does that mean I can literally download any free cheat and use it? Thanks guys
