I didn't see any link rules, so here's a link to an image. Notice how handhelds were a tiny percentage of the market. And that was 2014, two years after the 3DS release, and I THINK the XL release.
Any CoD game, Grand Theft Auto, tons of children are playing mature rated games, mainly on consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One. (These exceptions make up a LOT of what children are playing, and if not those mobile games and PC games are dominant.)
Sorry, forgot the link in last post. Quality of the games doesn't make up for the lack of interest from children. What child raised in this decade would want an RPG when the media and social media influences push your plain FPS or Grand Theft Auto? Children are manipulated by advertisers giving them what they tell them to want.
