Supports DarkRP, TTT and sandbox-based gamemodes.
Description
This script adds a boombox capable of playing a wide variety of musics to the game.
Note: The script does use a DRM, this is used to prevent most leaks and to apply important fixes, this means the script will not work in singleplayer and may break if you are hosting the server from your game. Please consider this before buying.
Features
  • Realist 3D positional audio, fits well in RP.

  • Custom high quality BoomBox model with moving speakers.

  • Sound controls: Play/Pause, Stop, A time slider and a volume control slider.

  • A search function able to get a wide seletion of musics from these sources:
    • YouTube(Audio extracted using youtube2mp3.cc)
    • Pleer(May not work in Russia)
    • myfreemp3(Doesn't work for a lot of people)

  • Several skins for the BoomBox and its UI.
  • Seamless pickup/drop. Take the BoomBox with you using the pickup option and drop it elsewhere, the music won't stop playing.
  • DarkRP support (located in the config, lua/boombox/config.lua)
  • TTT support (through pointshop, check lua/pointshop/items/weapons/boombox.lua)
  • Optional CPPI integration (only 'buddies' can use the BoomBox, etc..) (enabled by default, change in the config)
[*]Installation/Configuration
The script should work right away on DarkRP or Sandbox-based gamemodes after dropping the boombox folder (the one containing lua, models, materials..) into the addons folder.
The language file is located at lua/boombox/lang.lua.
The config is located at lua/boombox/config.lua. It has 2 parts:
  • General config (Prop protection integration, DarkRP price, etc..)

  • Visuals configuration (UI themes and Skin choices)
    Detailed instructions are available in the file itself.
