RE: What is your favorite version of minecraft? 30-07-2017, 04:05 AM #42 I like 1.8.9 because it seems to be one of the most popular versions that servers are hosted on (many are compatible with higher versions, but use 1.8.8 as the base version) and because it's situated in the perfect spot in my opinion. It succeeds all the other 1.8 updates, meaning it has fixed many issues that 1.8-1.8.8 may have experienced, but it's just before the combat overhaul in 1.9, which I particularly dislike.
