Honestly, YouTube ranking is pretty challenging these days. It comes down a lot to keyword planning, content, and platforming. You obviously need to make good content, and I mean REALLY good content. If you cant? Videos take a lot of work to make and get done right, so I would just stop there. The next thing is your planning. Are you doing and trend research? What's your niche? Let's say you make gaming videos (you probably do, let's be honest), Try out google's keyword planning tool or just google one, there's a couple (albeit, limited) free ones. Search stuff like "gaming" or a specific game that you play like "pubg" and look what users search along with those tags. Let's say the first result is "PUBG funny moments". See what I'm getting at? Once you have a good set of keywords, come up with a video idea. Film it, edit it with some decent quality editing in comparison to the users of your niche, and post it. Use an engaging but not too click-bait-ey title and for the love of god if you have less than 10k subs do not make episodes, that is the corniest shit and no one watches them. Come up with something interesting, like if you want to be a little excited try "PUBG FUNNY MOMENTS (I'M TRASH)". You could also go about the route that most people have been with the past couple of months and just stick with Vlog styled titles like "I didn't see this coming..." Gaming / reaction channels have been using that format for a bit and it seems to really be working.

Let's separate this and talk about thumbnail placement. You need an engaging thumbnail, they are vital right now. Look at some of the thumbnails that people in the same niche and you'll see what I mean. Colors, Photoshopped images/screenshots related to the game, a face shot, anything you can grab attention with. Throw a quote or subtitle on there to give some more info about the video. There's a lot you can do, and you HAVE to do it.

I'll finish off with the description. Write the dumbest, keyword driven paragraph you can. Talk about other YouTubers, talk about the game, products, anything. That's going to come back to the keywords. Lastly, just use tags, compare yourself to others in the tags, write down related content, anything you can but don't go too crazy you could get flagged.

I grew a video with a fresh channel and no backlinks to over 100k views in 6 months organically. That's not even a good stat, but for a side project (I'm usually growing IG accs these days) I got a lot of buzz. If you really work at it, and treat it like a job, you will get more views.

I realize you will never read this, but have a nice day and I wish you luck.
