Why not? Bitcoin is currently one big bubble ready to explode. It recently had a drop of almost 8000 dollars and is ready to drop again.
Also if you are planning on mining yourself. Don't do it, the power and internet you put into mining one bitcoin takes to log to earn enough to get your money back
