I believe PayPal forbids people from buying crypto currencies using PayPal. That's why it's to hard to buy using PayPal. But if you use a CC or Bank Transfer it is as easy as buying McDonalds.

The only way I've ever bought bitcoin was through Paypal, not sure what you're talking about.

I'm noy saying it's impossible, it's just harder to find a company selling BTC for PP. There's always the option to purchase BTC using PP from other people though.
