Why would you eat pizza with Pineapple on it?

One time, while working at a pizza place, someone cancelled their order for a pizza after it was already made. Because we already made the pizza and didn't screw it up, we were allowed to eat it. I did not make the pizza myself. It was pineapple, bacon, and pepperoni. The pineapple was put on first, such that it was hidden by each piece of pepperoni. I bit into the pizza, thinking it would be heavenly. No, said the Pizza god, not today. It was pure hell. Sweet and savory in one, with a mouthfeel of gushers candy. It was disgusting.
