Denied Implement a "programmer" award

I have been programming for years and I think having a programmer/coder award would make sense, no matter what this site is based around. The award would be given to capable programmers who have proved what they can do, or to people who are just known to be a good programmer. Maybe, you could even set up some fun challenges for the community to try to obtain the award. The reason I am suggesting this is because I was looking through the awards and I didn't see one.
