Denied Thread Notification

Hi, i was wondering if we could implement a way to have some form of thread notification since we can't see when someone posts on our threads without quoting us.
I was thinking of maybe having a small little icon in the "My thread" section that pops up every time there is a new message OP hasn't seen or something similar.
For example Aokiyou posted on my thread earlier but i did not know till i went on it and looked through the posts, there's no way for me to know when someone posts on my thread without me having to go on it
