I used to use towelroot via towelroot.com with chainfire SU on my old galaxy s4 and s5 and he just came out with a good one for the verizon s5 that works with chainfire SU recently. I switched to an iPhone though. I value security and privacy with my smartphone now more then anything so I switched. Still got my rooted s5 though and it runs great. I should warn you there is still huge risk in rooting, I found this one to be the most reliable for my device but I have not tried others. Some root kits are malicious, and some are known to have fakes that can brick a phone. Please do your research before hand on your specific device model number.
Essence in the mist, that is the shadow with the grip.
