what csgo ranks are you?

Just keep playing until you can play competitive and then jump straight in. I'd advise getting plenty of practise in deathmatch first, find your sens and work on honing your aim. Even if you get placed low, aim is really the only difference between ranks below DMG level. Good aim can easily get you to MGE and possibly DMG then at that point you'll need more than just raw aim.
