I myself bought a chinese phone that is a lot better than these 2 that you are comparing, it's called ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini. Now if you really want to choose one of these 2 phones than ofcourse the S4. The S3 is not an outdated phone but the S4 has more capabilities than the S3
