All you guys had to do is ask me. :3

Yes, VCMod does have DRM, but it is merely a side feature of the Auto Updater system, which is made solely to help my clients.

VCMod DRM does not force you to jump hoops to make it work, you do not need to whitelist your servers or only use it on a single server.

I can manually block anyones copy if I find something malicious, but VCMod has automated leak detection aswel. It works in multiple ways, simplest one being checking the copies recent activity for any issues or seeing a huge spike in activity of unrelated servers, etc.

Once it suspects a copy as leaked it notifies me by email, blocks the copy on my server then blocks you from downloading it from GMS (removes access). Once this happens the local copy you have is nothing more than digital paperweight.

Its decision can be overwritten by me at any time and even if it is blocked, if I get proof that it was not buyers fault I can even still allow him to use the copies by whitelisting his servers, even tho the copy is blocked.

I can also blacklist IP ranges from running any VCMod or blacklist single server per copy (if buyer requests me to).

Nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done.

I've had some issues initializing the script upon starting the server but a simple reboot fixed that without any troubles.

This has been fixed for good since yesterday. VCMod was getting a bit too massive, so had to configure the servers to properly handle the loads. I am also collecting info of each clientside VCMod API handshake failure. So I can see whats going on.

Tip: disable the damn "Parental restrictions"..
