After 1k hour on that life-taking gamemode I have to say:
worst map rp_downtown (that overused one)
- It is so overused honestly I would rather RP on gm_construct than on this
- small map
+ It brings alot players

rp_evocity
+ High quality map
+ big map
- probably not good for small servers (due to its bigness)

rp_rockford
its good map

rp_c24_v1
HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING
-not suitable for darkrp
but it is my favourite map for hl2rp and it is also the greatest one and I will love it forever
- requires alot of content (HL2, HL2:EP1, HL2:EP2, CSS)


So which one you should use?

When you are starting server use the over used map since 90% of darkrp players have it

After you server gets big lets say 50 concurrent players
Make a poll and let people vote

Change the map but setup fastdl! This is very important




or

just make your own map like SUP have
