I wouldn't call it a low budget film but I suppose $50 million is lower compared to those big marvel movies. It has a fantastic cast with actors/actressessuch as Johnny Depp and Daisy Ridley. But I would recommend the 1974 version with Albert Finney and Sean Connery. They both tell the same tale just different takes on it and I personally enjoyed the 1974 version better. But to each their own.

Never seen the original but I'll have to check it out, didn't even know this movie was based on a book either lol.
