RE: what weapon is good to start using as a noob
Well after playing for around 2k+ hours I would advise you to start with the rifles m4a1-s or m4a4 (whichever you prefer) , ak47. They are really hard to master but once that is done you will really dominate. In most short-long ranges. Do about of 100hours in rifles and then slowly start awping. Why should you learn rifling? Well it develops your gamesense and helps you prefire corners which is essentially the same as sniping. You learn to pre-aim which is deadly with the awp because in the end it will be how fast your reaction time and your opponents is. Awping is really difficult as you have limitations you move slow you need to be 100% sure to shoot otherwise the guy with the ak will avoid your shot and will destroy you. Slowly once you get the hang of awping and rifling (recommend team deathmatches to practice) move to the ssg scout sniper. Many people really underestimate that weapon mainly due to its very hard to kill moving targets. But if you are into competitive gameplay try to learn it as it is cheaper than the awp and almost equivalent to the awp plus you are moving really fast. (which helps you take down any type of sniper awpers,auto-noobs etc...). It is a deadly and cheap weapon which can really destroy enemies and later on in your journey you can learn advanced techniques like jump-scouting which can be OP in certain situations (check out on youtube scout gods in csgo) you will really see that after some point everyone is just target practice. CS:Go is really difficult in the beginning but after mastering all the above you will reach very high ranks. Finally, as you progress you will start learning the maps (you like ) you should start learning basic smokes, flashes to fuck with the enemy and own them. Mastering Aim in CSGO can get you really far in the ranks but as you go to the top you will need to learn more tricks. And then you can even learn common wallbangs to become literally a god but that is advice for another time.
No smgs are the last thing you would do. First it is rifles then snipers, pistols and then everything else. It is pointless to be a noob and simply use p90 all the time that simply won't get that far. Off course I am talking for the competitive scene. If you are talking about casual then do whatever you want but that is bad.
Don't listen to this guy, CS:GO is a team based game. You need to learn proper weapons to become good.
