Some of the changes include:

Prevent some errors arising from media assigned to non existent categories
Ensure censoring is applied to various publicly viewable user generated text
Prevent issues arising from servers which do not support set_time_limit
Fix a bunch of issues when upgrading from very old versions of XFMG (including pre 1.0 upgrades)
Ensure the full attachment record exists when re-building thumbnails for images

Where necessary, the merge system within the "outdated templates" page should be used to integrate these changes.
