How to - Get free (paid) notification sounds

Title will probably throw you off but I couldn't think of any better way to say it..
Anyways diving right into it, I love notification sounds I use them for quite a few things (including shoutbox)
I find it hard getting non-'intrusive' sounds that don't break your ears..
