Racism exists because no matter what, people will always look at a person's appearance. Even though we are all human, location has played a part in appearance. As mentioned before humans feel more comfortable with each other, and history has created these societal norms that most people experience today. Add onto that, the recent years has seen an increase in acknowledging that the differences, such as skin color, define who that person is. In my opinion this is utterly ignorant. Only actions can define who a person is, not gender, "race", etc... It is okay to embrace the differences, but we shouldn't use it to define who we are a human being.
