Minecraft is far from dying. There are tons of YouTubers leaving the scene because it's an old enough game that people are getting bored of it, even with all the updates and new addons and things alike. Just because there's a lot of big YouTubers, like SkyDoesMinecraft and other YouTubers slowly moving out of that scene, doesn't mean that the game is dying. I for on have stopped playing a while ago and only play once in a while with close friends, but it's still a good game that's attracting a lot of new players, especially since it comes advertised on EVERY installation of Windows 10, and there's a ton more people seeing it than before. There's a lot more people joining every day than there are people leaving the Minecraft scene. It may be a slow increase, but it is increasing in terms of how many active players there are.
