If I were a scientist, I'd figure out how to cure Malaria. It's something that's killing so many innocent people near rainforests and in rural areas... and even some urban areas. It's an epidemic that nobody really knows how to solve other than chasing away some mosquitoes through the use of physical objects and nets and like spray that keeps them off you.
It'd help so many poorer countries, and people in need.

Cure for cancer is not as easy. Cancer is not a disease that pass and is everything ok. Cancerous cells are unavoidable, they are in a certain way natural, the problem is control the reproduction of this cells, that is also "natural", and with natural I mean of our own body.
