Not sure if it's just me, but it feels like Amazon's Alexa is getting stupider with time... is it using machine learning with crowd-sourced info and therefore becoming stupider as time progresses?
Here's a prime example, no pun intended:
At 10pm last Thursday (April 19th):
Me: "Alexa, is tomorrow Friday?" Alexa: "No, April 21st 2018 is not a Friday."
Me: "Alexa, what's tomorrow?" Alexa: "Tomorrow will be April 20th 2018."
Me: "Alexa, is tomorrow Thursday?" Alexa: "I don't see a calendar set up... to link your calendar, visit the calendar settings in your Alexa app."
Me: "Alexa is tomorrow Sunday?" Alexa: "No, April 21st 2018 is not a Sunday."
Me: "Alexa, is tomorrow Monday?" Alexa: "I don't see a calendar set up... to link your calendar, visit the calendar settings in your Alexa app."
Me: "Alexa is tomorrow Tuesday?" Alexa: "No, April 21st 2018 is not a Tuesday."
Me: "Alexa, what's tomorrow?" Alexa: "Tomorrow will be April 20th 2018."
Despite locale / etc. being set properly, it seems some stuff is based off of GMT time and other stuff isn't... Either way, when it does, in fact, know what tomorrow's date is, there's no excuse for getting it wrong...and I can't think of any valid reason why asking about certain days of the week would make it talk about setting up calendars but other days not...
Really basic shit... perhaps I've got a skill installed that's screwing it up, or maybe she's rebelling intentionally cause I've called her stupid too many names
Life is like a box of chocolates, it doesn't last as long for fat people.
