It can be profitable if you can target a PC gaming audience. Them simply clicking is all you need and they'll be with you.
One thing I actually found out though, overtime you actually earn less from them. So like right now if I clicked and purchased something for $1, I think you'd get about $0.05, but in 6 months if I buy something for $1 again, you'll only get $0.01. I found this out after I noticed when I was barely getting anything when people were paying like $50. Older referrals give you less money over time essentially and it's such a shitty thing. I confirmed this with their support and they said it's in their ToS or something which details this.
