Even tho its already been a month the documentation is still very lacking compared to 16.04 and some software might still need updates to work properly.
EDIT: Can't really give you any pros or cons since my experience was brief, but the picture I got is that its very similar with some new features and might still need some work.

I'm no Linux whisperer/guru myself and occasionally struggle even with perfect documentation, so it's probably safest (and easiest) for me to hold off as well until they've got it a little more polished.
