Now let me tell you a little story first so you understand how embarrassing this is. So I've been a skier since I have 7, and have been through countless falls down slopes whether it be from a patch of ice to moguls to getting wiped by a snowboarder. I'd always get up and be fine. Now I wanted to get back into Judo, and all goes well for about 2 months before a new kid joins. He's a wrestler, so naturally, he tried to muscle his way through everything. Well, it turns out he locked his arms and legs when he lifted me above him so I didn't fall right and that's how I broke my right collarbone into three pieces. Fast forward two weeks when I got surgery, it was outpatient, I was knocked out until 3 pm, didn't sleep, then went on a 6 hour, school bus ride the next day to Busch Gardens and spent the day there.
TLDR: Skiing = not dangerous. Falling 3 feet = shatter my collarbone.
