How to rejuvenate my passion for the game?

Why rejuvenate at all?

LoL is now completely overrun by kids who think they're better than everyone else.

Plus the game follows a very redundant 5v5 patter, that can make you lose interest after a while.

If you don't feel like playing, there is no hard and fast rule that requires you to play.

Connect occassionally when you feel like. Or just leave it be.
