TF2 had such a cool active community outside the game, i still revisit those retarded gmod movies from time to time, when playing tf2 you could just chill out, not care about objective, emote around, show off etc. countless awesome spin off modes and maps - my favorite map has to be mario kart night trading up to something you wanted was something special. You never felt like in a "cage" stuck to doing an objective - like it is in OW
DayZ back when it was fresh was something like nothing before, i remember being tactical around the zombies, like crawl towards the barn and avoid aggroing them. Getting 1st kill ever was better than getting high, and then it hit you, you never really had to kill that person and you started to feel bad, but then you checked out his loot and wanted to do it yet again. I remember playing on a night server with my buddy, without NV, scary but fun, 3am in real life - winter night with wind outside howling like crazy. We would always start in elektro/cherno go to stary vybor, airfeild and then back to the middle of a map
I hope escape from tarkov will deliver the same feeling once it is fully released
